The Knorr-Bremse Group based in Munich is the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems and supplier of additional sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles. To be able to respond to the increasing demand and ever higher standards of Chinese Mass Transit (MT) and mainline railway systems (LD), In 2005 a WOFE with high quality standard manufacturing basis with full operational functions including sales, project management, engineering and procurement is already established and in full operation in Suzhou New District, China. With its new facility in Suzhou, Knorr-Bremse is now in a strong position to lead developments in the rapidly developing Chinese market and can meet increasing requirements for mass transit projects as well as mainline developments whenever in China.
